man, you guys haven't even tried it! for crying out loud, ya'll eat funky smelling kimchee all the time! haha. i really do love thousand year old eggs. they taste yummy w/ some juk (the soupy/watery rice) for breakfast. or is it jjuk?? or neither..
Yeah but kimchee = pickled cabbage. 1000 year egg = nasty black rotten egg.

Fermenting for a 1000 years = compost
